Fund Development/Major Gifts Associate

PRIMARY FUNCTION/PURPOSE: The Major Gifts Associate will support the fundraising priorities of the President and CEO and other staff at National Black Child Development Institute (NBCDI). The Associate will also maintain a personal portfolio of major gift donors.

Time will be spent supporting the organization in reaching their annual fundraising goals, identifying, engaging, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding current and prospective donors to meet annual revenue target. The Associate will serve as the main point of contact for these assigned donors to help deepen their relationship and increase their support for NBCDI

Program Intern

National Black Child Development Institute invites talented undergraduate and graduate students to join us for a 10 week internship from February 2012 to April 20, 2012. We are looking for individuals who wish to make a real contribution to the lives of Black Children and families. Interns are matched according to their skills with a specific program. Interns work in a variety of areas including: Child Health & Nutrition, Finance, Fundraising, Human Resources, Marketing & Communication, Administration, and Research and Public Policy.
